In my cell the other night we talked about how hard it can be to get to know anyone these days. I think sometimes consumerism becomes our default identity because of our mistrust. We talk about what Vodka we drink or what shoes we just bought because it's easier than talking about who we really are and what we actually do! Come to think of it we might not know who we are because our identity has been lost in not trusting anything (especially God)! If this is the case why really do anything useful anyway? I think your right Adam...lets (the church) rebuild this thing beginning with our basic identity in Christ. I think other's will see it in us and follow suit.

Thanks for your thoughts Adam. I really like how you ended with the narrative of God reigning supreme.
